Red, Fast, and Unforgettable
Ferrari Challenge in 2025
Most would say Christmas occurs in December. But those people have never been to Ferrari Challenge.
To the uninitiated, Ferrari Challenge is a race. To enthusiasts, it’s something else entirely—a celebration, a pilgrimage, a high-octane holiday wrapped in Rosso Corsa. For one weekend at a time, a sea of red rolls into each host city, bringing with it the unmistakable sound of twelve cylinders, the scent of racing rubber, and the collective awe of dreamers young and old.
This year, Ferrari Challenge roared into Sonoma Raceway in March, launching the 2025 North American season with the first official doubleheader. Now in its fifth consecutive year at the Wine Country track, Sonoma continues to offer something special—intimacy. With open pits and garages, fans are invited to get close to the cars and drivers, often chatting between sessions as Ferrari race teams fine-tune their machines. It’s not just a race. It’s an invitation into the Ferrari family.
For owners, arriving in a Ferrari means the gates open freely—a nod to the camaraderie that defines the brand. From modern marvels like the Ferrari SF90 Stradale to iconic classics like the 512 TR, the parade of F-cars is breathtaking. And like Christmas, you dress the part. Just make sure it’s red. And bring a hat. The sun waits for no one.
In 2025, the all-new Ferrari 296 Challenge made its full-season debut as the exclusive racecar of the series. Sleek, aggressive, and loaded with hybrid-era performance tech, the 296 Challenge represents Ferrari’s next chapter—unapologetically fast and unmistakably Italian.
Every round of the series now also includes Club Challenge and Club Competizioni GT, broadening the experience for participants and bringing even more engineering, heritage, and passion to the paddock.
Ferrari Heads to Indianapolis in June
This month, all eyes turn to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where Ferrari Challenge returns for Round 4 from June 25 to 29. Known as the Racing Capital of the World, Indy offers one of the most storied backdrops in motorsports. With its rich history, high-speed straights, and iconic bricks, the venue provides a striking contrast to Ferrari’s modern racecraft.
It’s the second consecutive year Ferrari Challenge has returned to Indy, and drivers will be pushing their 296 Challenge cars to the edge in a battle that blends Italian power with American legacy. Expect roaring engines, packed paddocks, and an electric atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
